    The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for daily follow up on import and export operations throughout the Region (Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Panama, Aruba, Dominican Republic, and emerging markets), partnering with local brokers, freight forwarder and courier companies; coordinating and ensuring merchandise is delivered as planned. The coordinator will engage with Central team to report documentary issues that require immediate assistance.

    HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE


    Import / Export:

    • Coordinate the import / export flow of goods for each Country, validating that the complete and necessary documentation (commercial invoice, packing list, technical sheets, import permits) is available for customs clearance.
    • Generate and maintain import / export documents and logs to keep full traceability of the operations.
    • Assist brand internal teams with their corresponding shipments.
    • Monitor courier shipments and coordinate necessary actions with store teams for final deliveries.
    • Maintain open communication with local logistics partners.
    • Assist the manager by validating the data transmission from brokers to Central team is performed on a weekly basis, ensuring all milestones are recorded on time.
    • Daily review the activity report from local broker to monitor customs lead-times.
    • Report back to Central incidences occurred in transit or customs clearance.
    • Local Transportation & Warehousing:
    • Coordinate store deliveries are performed as planned.
    • Monitor cross-dock reports and delivery in-store tools.
    • Follow up and assist with open cases reported in Ticketing tool.

    WHO YOU ARE


    Scholarship:

    • College degree in Foreign Trade, International Business or Logistics (preferred).
    • 4+ years’ experience and familiarity with customs laws, including knowledge of Harmonized Tariff classification, and Import & Export requirements for international shipping.
    • Fluent English.

    Skills:

    • Competency in all Microsoft Office packages (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Ability to work effectively and independently, complying with tight deadlines.
    • Organization and attention to detail is a must.
