    Your Opportunity

    This newly created role works closely with Finance and Human Resources teams to oversee a business’ compensation and benefits related cost. The role will report to the Regional CFO but also work close with regional HR team.

    How you will contribute

    Compensation

    • Be an integral part of the Finance team and be responsible for the full scope of payroll duties in addition to all compensations planning and process optimization.
    • Ensure payroll processing and payment is performed timely and accurately and in compliance with local employment ordinance and legislative requirements.
    • Coordinate with local finance team and local HR teams to gather and validate employee information, calculate sales force / sales agents incentive or commission.

    Cost Budgeting, Analysis and Monitoring:

    • Conduct regular reviews to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for potential cost savings.
    • Prepare and present regular HR KPI reports on HR cost performance to key stakeholders.
    • Provide insights into the causes of variances and recommend corrective actions.
    • Assist in budget planning, focusing on HR costs and analysis
    • Work closely with finance teams to ensure alignment with overall organizational budgetary goals.
       

    Process Improvement:

    • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of HR cost control measures.
    • Be a key member in executing regional compensation optimization, serve as a strategic advisor to the business in all HR cost-related issues

    Compliance & Others

    • Coordinate with Group HR Cost Controlling as well as Local Finance and HR on HR cost related topics, queries system enhancement and projects if any
    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies in all HR cost-related activities.
    • Stay informed about changes in regulations affecting HR cost management.
    • Other Ad-hoc finance related tasks assigned by manager

    Who you are

    • Bachelor and above degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
    • With 5 years above proven experience in payroll management , HR cost control, or a similar role
    • A strong regional compensation leadership background, preferably in reputable matrixed organizations
    • Strong business acumen with the ability to anticipate and resolve potential issues, providing alternative long-term solutions
    • Exceptional relationship management and interpersonal skills to build cross-functional and global relationships
    • Ability to execute and work independently in a fast-moving environment with limited support
    • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
    • Proficiency in MS Office, familiar with SAP/ BPC is a plus
    • Fluency in English is required. Fluency in Cantonese and Chinese will be a plus.
