    About us Cristóbal Balenciaga founded the House in 1917 in his home of Spain. In 1937, he established the brand in Paris, designing its collections there until 1968. Cristóbal Balenciaga had a reputation as a couturier of uncompromising standards and was referred to as "the master of us all" by Christian Dior and as “The Couturier of the Couturiers” by Gabrielle Chanel. The ultra-modern shapes were trademarks of the house. While the brand’s identity is firmly rooted in its highly conceptual prêt-à-porter collections, its leather goods, footwear, and accessories experience worldwide success as well. Among the archetypal products of the House are its handbag collections. A new focus on the development of Balenciaga ready-to-wear collections for men was quickly established as highly successful. Since October 2015, Demna has designed both men’s and women’s collections as the artistic director. The Balenciaga House, part of the Kering group since 2001, is one of the most influential names in fashion.

    Your opportunity

    We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Global HR Development team as an Assistant / Apprentice. This is a great opportunity for someone eager to gain practical experience in the field of Human Resources, specifically in the development and training of employees with a worldwide exposure. You will be working closely with experienced HR professionals, contributing to the design and implementation of HR Development initiatives, related to: Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Employee Engagement, Inclusion & Diversity, Reporting. This is a 2 years’ apprentice contract.

    How you will contribute

    Contribute to the design, implementation and change management of local and global initiatives linked to HR development.

    Employees Onboarding

    • Maintain and improve the global onboarding deck
    • Support continuous improvement actions, aligned with group policy

    Learning and Development

    • Assist with the development and implementation of training programs, workshops, and other learning initiatives
    • Support the creation and distribution of learning materials, training manuals, and resources.
    • Research and recommend new learning tools and resources
    • Support the logistics of training events, including scheduling, catering, room booking, and participant registration

    Employee Engagement

    • Assist in organizing in-house workshops, development programs, and other initiatives that enhance employee skills and sense of belonging.
    • Propose content for the intranet to animate the WW community
    • Support the back office and analysis of the yearly employee engagement survey and feedback areas for improvement.
    • Lead initiatives to engage and animate the interns and apprentices community

    Inclusion & Diversity

    • Support the implementation of company-wide I&D policies and procedures at a worldwide level.
    • Help organize and facilitate I&D events and workshops.
    • Be the coordinator for Balenciaga volunteer program (draw up internal communication plans, follow up with the regions, seek out new associations)

    Reporting

    • Assist in maintaining accurate HR documentation
    • Assist in the identification and tracking of key HR performance indicators (KPIs) related to employee engagement, I&D, training, and other relevant areas.
    • Collect, analyze, and report on HR data to support informed decision-making.
    • Assist in the development of HR reporting processes and procedures.

    HR Projects & Strategy Support

    • Assist with ad-hoc HR development projects
    • Support the HR team in executing strategic HR initiatives that align with the global roadmap

                 

    Who you are :

    • A background in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (currently pursuing or recently completed a degree).
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (minimum of B2 level)
    • Basics of project management
    • At ease with MS office suite
    • Familiarity with HR software and platforms can be an advantage
    • Interested in People Development topics
    • Good organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
    • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
    • Solution oriented, curious
    • Good at juggling data and like to promote your ideas via impactful presentations
