We are currently seeking an EMEA Visual Merchandiser that will report directly to the EMEA Visual Merchandising Manager and functionally to the EMEA Franchisee & Wholesale Director as part of our dynamic team in Milan.
How you will contribute:
- Collaborate with EMEA Visual Merchandising Manager to ensure that all stores within the remit are aligned to Bottega Veneta’s brand image guidelines when implementing collections and completing in-store merchandising.
- Build strong relationships with the teams and dedicate time in stores to ensure that the brand’s image and VM directives are consistently met.
- Support the implementation and execution of visual merchandising standards across the region, in line with brand guidelines.
- Coach the store teams through VM training and remote support.
- Partner closely with the Franchise Area managers and Partners to ensure alignment across VM and Retail.
- Monitor, feedback and escalate accordingly with regards to the impact of VM actions on the business.
- Prepare visual merchandising photo reports and taking care of the organization and distribution of VM tools.
- Provide support to stores required to adapt visual merchandising standards to their environment.
- Work collaboratively with the AM to support the delivery of business results through VM specific approaches.
- Participate in the coordination and set-up of new locations from a VM perspective.
- Provide support in new openings as well as refurbishment in liaison with Store Planning and AM
- Overlook and coordinate all visual projects in the area including windows, store planning installations and pop ups, including pre-payment and logistic flows.
- When required, provide support with showroom and DOS VM set up.
Who you are:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as VM, store or office based.
- Fluent English, any other language is welcome.
- Good knowledge of luxury retail, more specifically within third parties accounts across EMEA region
- High sensitivity and understanding of product categories and the region’s luxury market.
- Ratio: 80% field work, implementing and overseeing the brand guidelines in stores; 20% office-based, completing training and monitoring VM activity within the region
- Proficiency in Office package and Adobe Suite
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently in the field, with a detail orientated approach.
- Adaptable, flexible, and able to work with tight deadlines.
- Willingness to participate in innovative projects.
- Flexibility on traveling.
- Great team spirit, resilience, self-drive.
