The Kering Shared Services team supports Kering and its affiliated brands with back of house and operational activities including but not limited to, Accounting Service, HR, Legal, IT, Logistics, Real Estate, Internal Audit, Loss Prevention, and Repairs.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
Compliance & Chargeback Expertise:
Deep understanding of customer compliance initiatives, violations, offset fees, and wholesale chargebacks.
Proactively identify potential compliance risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Develop and maintain robust processes to guarantee compliance with customer standards or seek exemptions when necessary.
Customer Relationship Management:
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key wholesale customers to anticipate changes in compliance requirements.
Conduct regular client meetings, phone calls, and vendor manual reviews to stay informed.
Chargeback Management:
Partner with the Supply Chain team to investigate, reconcile, and resolve chargebacks (including compliance claims, returns, shortages, pricing).
Identify and address process deficiencies to prevent future chargebacks.
Communicate effectively with brands under Shared Services regarding chargeback reviews, violation rates, incident rates, impact on the AR ledger, and preventative measures.
Analytical & Reporting:
Provide leadership with regular progress reports and analytics to track chargeback trends, identify areas for improvement, and demonstrate value of compliance efforts.
Negotiate settlements with major customers through periodic settlement packages.
Financial Management:
Review and validate accounting entries related to chargebacks and compliance issues.
Possess knowledge of multiple financial systems including SAP, Movex, M3, Microsoft AX Dynamics, and Microsoft Navision.
Team Leadership:
Manage, supervise, train, develop, and monitor the performance of the Chargeback team.
WHO YOU ARE
Essential:
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel with advanced analytical skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely.
In-depth knowledge of the luxury fashion market, particularly the wholesale process from purchase order to cash cycle, including sales, marketing, logistics, labeling, packaging, routing, and returns.
Preferred:
Knowledge of SAP.
Experience in a similar role within the luxury industry.
