In view of the strategic and operational importance of developing and expanding Fnac internationally, I have decided to create a post for an Executive Vice President International and Development, which I have entrusted to Thierry Guibert. Thierry Guibert is therefore named, Executive Vice President International and Development as from January 1st 2008. He shall assume the working responsibility for all countries outside France and for the subsidiaries Surcouf and Fnac éveil&jeux, as well as managing Development. In addition he shall continue to fulfill his duties as CFO of Fnac. Thierry Guibert (37) holds a degree from the Reims Business School and began his career with KPMG audit where his duties included auditing and financial consulting. He joined PPR's financial management in 1999 and was appointed Financial Control Director of the PPR group in January 2003. Thierry Guibert was appointed Corporate Secretary and Financial Director of Fnac in 2006 before taking over the Management of International and Subsidiaries in September 2007.
