Today, Kering shared its 2021 Group EP&L results, revealing that the Group has reached its -40% reduction target four years early for its consolidated impacts across GHG emissions, water use, air and water pollution, waste and land use.
Between 2015 and 2021, the Group achieved a -41% reduction, relative to growth on a comparable basis. To further deepen and promote transparency, Kering has also shared the details about its absolute impacts for the first time.
The new report was published soon after Kering received a Green Finance award at the Digital Finance Awards in recognition of its EP&L. As a pioneering natural capital accounting tool, the EP&L analyses a company’s total impacts on the environment starting from raw material production, which is essential not only to drive a company’s sustainable transformation but to inform ESG reporting.
