    Job Family Group Description - Finance: Gathers jobs supporting the business through financial services, such as business planning and performance analysis, risk management, tax and administration. Job Family Description -Accounting and Consolidation: Oversees the maintenance of our company’s general ledger and related accounting practices, including payables, receivables, inventories, fixed assets and payrolls. Sub-Job Family Description - Accounting/Administration: Supports our business by performing professional accounting work involving the compilation, consolidation and analysis of financial data.

    Kering Finance Shared Service - Korea

    Context of the Position

    • Between 2013 and 2019, Kering has built a strong network of 17 Finance Shared Service Centers, covering all brands present in the main regions of the group. This common structure and governance promote process harmonization and best practices sharing across geographies, helping Kering becoming an integrated luxury group.

    • With a very strong sponsorship of group senior management, Kering Finance Shared Services (KFSSC) has initiated a global transformation to re-invent and streamline shared service processes. This project leverages significant investment in technology (Implementation of SAP FMS & S4 Finance, Blackline, Concur, Esker, Avalara, IBM Trirega…) and will span over 3 years (2019 to 2021). A global change community has been set-up across Kering SSC and change management is supported by external consultants.

                

    • Accounting Finance is one of the back-office functions in Kering Korea Finance Shared Service Center (KFSSC) established in 2013. As a member of this team, you

    will be responsible for administration related the dynamic activities of KFSSC.

    KFSSC provides group brands, Gucci, Bottega Veneta, Saint Laurent, Balenciaga, Alexander McQueen and Boucheron with various service level of Finance & Accounting side.

    Macro Objectives

    • Establish, formalize and communicate the harmonization & accountability target for accounting operations.

    • Support consistency and accuracy of financial entries and financial statement by enforcing common accounting rules across brands and regions

    • Align all other systems that are using all or part of the chart of account with SAP KOCA (e.g. Workday, payroll system(s), TM1, Concur, Blackline, Esker, Tririga, Avalara,..._) & all relevant systems that are using an organization structure (i.e. companies, MRP, profit centers) with the SAP Org Structure (e.g. Workday, payroll system(s), TM1, Concur, Blackline, Esker, Tririga, Avalara,..._)

    • Identify, streamline and define GL accounts for asset accounting and governance mechanism for maintaining Fixed Asset Register

    • Harmonize IFRS compliant capitalization and depreciation policy

    Sub-Objectives

    • Finance Closing
    • Lead on-time delivery of Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly closing in accordance with local GAAP and Group guidelines
    • Prepare COGS and margin closing - strong understanding of cost accounting and inventory movement
    • Maintain and manage Fixed Asset management procedures
    • Reconcile Intercompany invoice and prepare for payment
    • Manage prepaid expenses
    • Evaluate foreign currency transactions every month

    • Audit and Tax
    • Prepare VAT and Corporate Income Tax filing.
    • Prepare statutory financial statements
    • Support internal and external audit

    • Others
    • Actively communicate with brands to solve any issue in a best way
    • Review and study accounting treatment for new accounting transaction
    • Participate in on going project and support ad-hoc requests

    • Cooperate with back-office function and other teams– Alignment and Harmonization between/with brands, promote best practices eliminating waste

    Long-Term Strategic Objectives

    • Through process and skills improvement, contribute to the progress of Korea Finance SSC organization toward ISO certification on quality & controls
    • Leveraging on the new processes and the additional technology, implement continuous accounting & fast-close (1 day close)

    Must have

    • Over 5~6 years experience in overall accounting & financial operations
    • Proficient in MS Office applications, especially in Excel
    • Korean native speaker with fluent written and verbal English skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Able to effectively communicate with people at all levels.
