    About us Cristóbal Balenciaga founded the House in 1917 in his home of Spain. In 1937, he established the brand in Paris, designing its collections there until 1968. Cristóbal Balenciaga had a reputation as a couturier of uncompromising standards and was referred to as "the master of us all" by Christian Dior and as “The Couturier of the Couturiers” by Gabrielle Chanel. The ultra-modern shapes were trademarks of the house. While the brand’s identity is firmly rooted in its highly conceptual prêt-à-porter collections, its leather goods, footwear, and accessories experience worldwide success as well. Among the archetypal products of the House are its handbag collections. A new focus on the development of Balenciaga ready-to-wear collections for men was quickly established as highly successful. Since October 2015, Demna has designed both men’s and women’s collections as the artistic director. The Balenciaga House, part of the Kering group since 2001, is one of the most influential names in fashion. We are currently seeking a Media Manager who will report to the WW Media Director.

    Your opportunity

    This role is pivotal as part as the global Media Team and with very strong interactions with local markets. Balenciaga is one of the first Fashion Maison to have a Ful Funnel media approach and this role even though it concentrates on upper to mid part of the funnel, requires a dynamic, curios and balanced Media Manager that it at ease with all touch points activation for innovative and transformative media Strategies.

    How you will contribute

    • Support the development of integrated cross-media plans for the Maison and manage the entire process from brief, recommendation, budget, and KPI setup to follow-up.
    • Strategize, plan, buy, and optimize content for maximum campaign performance. You will also activate plans and continuously track and optimize campaign performances.
    • Streamline and optimize on/off-line media planning processes across regions.
    • Develop and implement an omnichannel media strategy that integrates online and offline channels.
    • Leverage data and insights to create seamless customer experiences across touchpoints. You will ensure consistent brand messaging and customer engagement across all media channels.
    • Utilize the latest technologies and tools to enhance media planning and execution. You will explore new media platforms and digital trends to stay ahead of industry changes.
    • Oversee the media agency’s scope of work, including media landscapes, competitive reporting, and media recommendations. You will also develop and evaluate agencies and incentives.
    • Monitor all media activities and deliver comprehensive reports and best practices. You collaborate with Data Analysts to utilize media tools for reporting in a full funnel appraoch.
    • Manage and consolidate media budgets in Market for the Maison and for key media partners. Enhance partnerships and develop relationships for branded content based on investment strategy and PR.

    Who you are

    • A professional with 7 years of experience in media planning and buying, preferably within the fashion or luxury industry,
    • A person with a strong understanding of integrated cross-media planning and 360-degree communication strategies and excellent organizational and project management skills,
    • An expert on media planning tools and software with strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to optimize campaign performance.
    • A professional with an exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, international environment is important.
