    We are looking for a Deputy Store Director for our Vendôme Flagship boutique.

    As Deputy Store Director, you report to the Boutique Director and are an Ambassador of Boucheron: you strive to identify business opportunities and implement actions to reach excellence and ensure the achievement of store business goals.

    This includes overseeing retail excellence, team management, client development.

    You ensure that all the processes comply with legal, safety, internal requirements, sustainability, HR and stock organization.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    A Deputy Director, assisting the Flagship Director in his duties.

    • Supervise sales to ensure customer satisfaction and engagement.
    • Implement action plans to achieve sales target and P&L
    • Ensure store atmosphere upholds the Maison image.

    A Maison Ambassador

    • Promote the culture of the Maison internally and externally, inspire customers and inspire the staff by embodying the Maison values.
    • Be a Maison ambassador and ensure that our clients are updated with launches and events. 
    • Highlight the House know-know and singularity by maintaining a high level of knowledge and storytelling.

    A Client & business developer, assisting sales team with all clients related actions.

    • Implement action plans to achieve High Jewellery & Jewellery sales ambition and targets.
    • Engage in proactive CRM to develop goal plans, support teams in driving client acquisition, reactivation, retention, and loyalty, focusing on both qualitative and quantitative performance.
    • Liaise with CRM department on all client actions, extractions, and database cleaning.
    • Leverage new business opportunities to build and develop a strong client base, drive sales, and enhance the Maison presence in the marketplace.
    • Advocate and encourage presence as well as transformation during regional and WW high jewelry events.
    • Assist & support the team in organizing VIC care treatments and managing prestige events.
    • Maintain client budgets- events, treatment, entertainment in line with budget.

    A People manager, supporting and developing the sales team.

    • Manage, empower, and motivate the team to drive the business, creating a positive work environment, being a role model and encouraging results-oriented mindset.
    • Support and coach the team, identifying their training needs or individual actions plan.
    • Set individual targets monitoring and managing performance to ensure these goals are achieved.
    • Recruit & develop team members: conduct interviews, organize touch base, lead performance review, support development plan based on retail career path, participate to salary review.
    • Act as the reference manager for the whole team when he is the manager on duty.

    A retail excellence promoter ensuring high standard in retail operations.

    • Understand and comply with Boucheron security and operational procedures (POS, cash handling, product handling, inventory control, etc.).
    • Ensure the quality of service given to our customers in line with internal processes and the values ​​of the House.
    • Identify and resolve important customer situations while challenging current processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Develop deep understanding and knowledge of brand and products to ensure clients’ experience.
    • Understand and execute The Maison guidelines (selling ceremony, training, gifting, visual merchandising, after sale, operations, etc.)
    • Act as "floor manager" and orchestrate specific areas within an organization & duties including assisting customers, organizing staff, and analyzing staff performance.
    • Lead by example on the floor and ensure the quality of service given to our customers while making sure that the Boucheron retail excellence guidelines are applied (selling ceremony, grooming, gifting, visual merchandising, etc.)
    • Actively participate to the animation of the boutique and in daily store set up (visual displays, replenishment of under stock, etc.) and morning briefing (product news, KPIs monitoring, etc.)
    • Manage merchandising, supply ordering, communication of stock needs, replacement of missing visuals.

    A cross-function coordinator, cultivating relationship between the Boutique and the Maison

    • Support the Flagship Director in reporting all the relevant information to the Headquarters and sharing the information with the boutique staff.
    • Implement action plans defined with HQ and Flagship Director and guarantee follow-up at store level.
    • Manage specific projects in coordination with HQ - if required
    • Liaise with other boutiques and departments such as Public Relations, Merchandising, Executive Offices, etc. 

    Each deputy director will have specific and dedicated missions or projects (non-exhaustive):

    • Retail excellence projects (Rise, process, mystery shopping, coaching
    • Clienteling specific projects: Digital clienteling app launch, activation, follow up.
    • High Jewelry: assortment, model stock allocation, training, coaching and deals coordination, Business bringers development, Private client population support.

                                             

    PROFILE

    • Strong commercial drive and results oriented mindset to leverage business opportunities.
    • 10 years of experience working in a retail luxury environment and dealing with high-end transactions.
    • Experienced leader with a minimum of 3 to 5 years in a store / team management position (depending on the business size)
    • Passionate about client and clients’ satisfaction
    • Dynamic, agile, and flexible to adapt to a fast-paced growing company.
    • Entrepreneurship mentality
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills, dedicated to support and develop your team.
    • Jewelry knowledge is an asset but is not required.
    • Fluent proficiency in English is mandatory, another language is preferrable.
