    Role Mission

    We are seeking a forward-thinking, curious, entrepreneurial, and ambitious Digital Enterprise Architect with exceptional strategic vision, team collaboration skills, and a deep understanding of digital transformation. This individual will be integral to replatforming our eCommerce software stack and driving innovation within the digital department of our prestigious luxury fashion brand.

    We need a servant leader who can think unconventionally and work collectively to augment our digital proficiency as we carve out our path in the digital landscape. The Enterprise Architect will join our culture that values transparency and collaboration, promoting agility and empowerment,

    Reporting to the Digital Technology Manager, the Digital Enterprise Architect is in charge of maintaining the cohesion of the enterprise architecture vision within our digital ecosystem and promoting the adoption of both established and emerging technology strategies and capabilities to fuel our ambitious digital growth plans. This role combines thought leadership, strategic oversight, liaising with both global and regional technology teams. The Digital Enterprise Architect will play an instrumental role in shaping our digital direction and driving technology innovation

    Key Accountabilities

    • Partecipate in the definition of the architecture and design of our new eCommerce platform, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals and digital transformation agenda.
    • Collaborate with technology teams and to develop and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance eCommerce solutions.
    • Oversee the technical decision-making process, ensuring robust architectural governance and adherence to best practices.
    • Ensure the cohesion of the enterprise architecture vision across the digital ecosystem
    • Lead without authority, mentor and guide senior engineers and technical leads, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation within the team.
    • Champion good software engineering practices including clean code principles, balance of tech debt, security considerations, agile methodologies.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain a technical roadmap that aligns with the product vision and business objectives.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously drive innovation and improvement within the digital department.

    Key Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
    • 10 years of experience in different roles within technology and architecture, with a minimum of 3 years in a senior technical position.
    • Extensive experience in building and deploying eCommerce platforms and their components such as PIM, CMS, and eCommerce engines, including integration patterns at an enterprise level and associated challenges.
    • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving common goals.
    • Strong expertise in modern software development practices, including agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and cloud computing.
    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and strategic thinking.
    • Fluent English required. Italian is a strong plus.
