We are currently seeking a Senior Finance Shared Services Manager to join our UK Financial Shared Services Centre based in Haywards Heath.

    Your opportunity

    This is a pivotal role in shaping our financial shared services landscape, dedicated to the Kering Houses. As part of the dynamic financial shared services team, you will oversee the UK financial shared services function, ensuring that accurate and timely financial reporting is observed. This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with the UK Houses as well as the EMEA FSCC team based in Paris, including Accounting and FP&A, and with cross-functional teams, including HR services and Treasury, to drive process alignment, and enhance financial controls for the Kering Houses based in the UK and in Ireland.

    How you will contribute

    • You will support the UK Shared Service team in providing the best accounting services to our Kering Houses based in the UK/Ireland.
    • You shall support the FP&A and Accounting team where necessary with the monthly financial closing process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting in compliance with established policies.
    • You shall ensure any discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly.
    • You will drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Record-to-Report (RTR) function, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
    • You shall collaborate with external auditors during audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations to comply with legal lead times and accounting accuracy needed to fulfil legal regulations.
    • You will lead a team of Financial Controllers and Accountants, fostering an inclusive and supportive workplace environment while promoting professional development, collaboration and engagement.
    • You will be expected to work closely with the UK HR Manager to deploy initiatives and manage people processes.
    • You will coordinate with cross-functional teams such as FP&A to streamline processes and improve data accuracy across finance functions.
    • You will be expected to be proactive regarding changes in accounting standards and regulations in the UK, implementing these changes as required.

    Who you are

    • You are required to be proficient in using SAP for managing financial transactions and ensuring accurate data flow.
    • As part of our Financial Shared Services, you need to be ‘service oriented’ to provide the best level of services to our Kering Houses.
    • You will be required to demonstrate excellent analytical skills to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
    • You are required to ensure compliance with UK accounting standards and local regulations by staying up-to-date on changes and implementing necessary adjustments.
    • Your ability to lead and mentor a diverse team will be crucial in driving performance and fostering a collaborative work environment.
    • You must effectively manage interdepartmental communications to streamline processes and resolve any RTR-related issues promptly.
    • You will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified ideally with 10+ years’ experience in either an audit or retail background.
    • You will be required to have experience in a similar shared services or complex matrix organization.
