    ABOUT SAINT LAURENT Founded in 1961, Yves Saint Laurent was the first couture house to introduce the concept of luxury prêt-à-porter in a 1966 collection called ‘Rive Gauche’, synonymous with youth and freedom. This shift represented a first critical step in the modernization of fashion and revolutionized the socio-cultural landscape. In 1999, the luxury goods division of the Kering Group acquired Yves Saint Laurent and, under the creative direction of Anthony Vaccarello since April 2016, continues to position the house at the summit of the luxury universe. Today, Saint Laurent collections include women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, shoes, handbags, small leather goods, jewelry, scarves, ties and eyewear.

    About the Role
    Join our Merchandising team as a Merchandising Planner for Leather Goods, reporting to the Leather Goods Merchandise Planning Manager. You'll be pivotal in shaping sales strategies, managing inventory, and driving business opportunities for one of the Maison’s most iconic categories.

    Key Responsabilities :

    1/ Sales Forecasting & Analysis

    • Develop sales forecasts aligned with business objectives and market trends.

    • Lead monthly forecast meetings with regional planners to ensure accuracy and consistency.

    • Monitor key metrics (e.g., forecast accuracy, sales trends) and recommend corrective actions.

    • Provide insightful monthly reports and long-term forecasts for strategic planning.

    2/ Inventory Management

    • Manage inventory levels, balancing forecasted sales with optimal stock.

    • Partner with production teams to plan reorders and adjust for capacity changes.

    • Identify risks or opportunities in stock levels and propose optimization strategies.

    3/ Business Reviews & Collaboration

    • Present monthly updates on sales, forecasts, and key insights to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

    • Collaborate with Retail and Collection Merchandising to align assortments and seasonal strategies.

    • Lead or support projects to enhance processes and adapt to evolving business needs.

    Profile

    • Master’s degree from a Business School or Engineering School or equivalent program with 5 years in a similar position

    • Analytical thinker with strong collaboration skills and a proactive & business oriented mindset

    • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

    • Product sensitivity and market knowledge

    • Advanced Excel skills

    • Fluent in English; French or Italian would be a plus
