    KERING EYEWEAR Finance Manager

    We are currently seeking a Finance Manager who will report to a President of Kering Eyewear Japan as part of our finance team in Japan.

    Your opportunity

    The Financial Manager will play a dynamic role in acting as a business partner to lead the finance team in Japan.

    How you will contribute

    Acting as overall coordinator and first-line advisor to the Head of Japan and Regional Finance Head on all finance-related matters, in order to achieve Net Sales, Profitability, FCF targets as well as other KPIs . Responsible for all-rounded finance functions including directing and controlling the financial, management and cost accounting, taxation, treasury, credit management, budgeting and forecasting.

    Financial accounting and compliance

    Supervise and oversee all aspects of financial activities, including accounting, tax compliance and financial reporting

    Lead the month-end closing to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures

    Liaise with internal/ external auditors and tax consultants in relation to statutory audit and tax matters

    Implement internal control policies and procedures in accordance with both statutory and the Group requirements

    Management reporting and FP&A

    Conduct and support the monthly management reporting as well as budgeting and forecast process to ensure timely and accurate submission

    Provide financial analysis to support business plans and justify commercial decisions, provide recommendations to improve the profitability

    Act as business partner to identify risks and opportunities on business performance

    Credit management

    Oversee all aspect of credit activities, including contract, cash and credit risk management

    Review the trade financing in areas of planning, execution and settlement reconciliation

    Oversee and control the performance of debtor collection and DSO

    Monitor credit orders release and debtor aging to mitigate potential credit risks

    Funding

    Manage the capital request and arrange for debt and equity financing.

    Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts

    People Management

    Lead the local finance team in  Japan, provide training and guidance to the team

    Recruit, empower and lead human capital in order to ensure achievement of expected results.

    Who you are

    Degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience.

    10+ years of progressively responsible experience for a major company or division of a large corporation.

    Experiences in highly competitive, brand sensitive, service oriented markets.

    Experience within modern commercial organizations, with demanding wholesale and retail business partners.

    Proven track record of results achieved within a structured, multinational environment.

    Ability to work within fast growing environments and to contribute to build a new organization.

    Experience in change management projects involving organization, information systems, business approach.

    Knowledge of finance, accounting, tax budgeting, and cost control principles including IFRS.

    High proficiency in Excel, PBI and other Microsoft Office applications

    Experience with SAP, BPC and Hyperion

    High level of written and oral communication skills in English.

    Strong leadership which inspires colleagues and stakeholders.

    Ability to think and act strategically with a strong focus on execution.

    Mature personality, self motivation, positive attitude.
