Your opportunity
This role is part of the Shared Service Centre (SSC) function, a key finance business partner for Japan, reporting to the Assistant FP&A Manager. This role will also work with the HQ and Kering House brands to ensure the allocation of costs from the shared service to the brands (cost recharges) and will be responsible for forecasting and analysis for the SSC and some of the brand entities that the SSC supports in their finance.
How you will contribute
Financial Reporting (30%)
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation and submission of monthly accounting reports, including analysis of sales, gross margin and so on for management review and group consolidation.
• Prepare, analyses and share all monthly reporting packages for review with HQ team. (in France, Italy, and APAC)
• Follow up with Store Planning and Accounting Team to ensure all committed capex are well recorded and aligned with approved capex.
• Communicate monthly spending reports to Budget Owners for monitoring and tracking of spend versus Budget / Forecasts
• Coordinate with Accounting Team for compliance to managerial accounting requirements, reviewing the accuracy of the financial reporting.
Budget & Forecasts (40%)
• Responsible for the timely submission for budget and forecasts for supporting entities and the reporting packages.
Controlling (20%)
• Cost management and control with Budget Owners to manage budget.
• Review and ensure all compliance to regulations and group policy.
• Respond to the various managerial accounting needs.
• Calculate SSC cost recharges and communicate them to HQ and Brands.
• Register GL accounting subject and cost center in the accounting system.
New Projects (10%)
• Prepare financial model and feasibility studies for new business.
• Collaborate with System Team for finance transformation project to ensure successful roll out to SAP and other applications.
Who you are
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting.
• Over 3 years of working experience as FP&A, preferably in luxury retail industry.
• Over 2 years of working experience as GL accounting staff.
• Audit or internal control experience preferred but not a must.
• High proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Preferably knowledge in SAP, HFM.
• Excellent communication, analytical, writing, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to a detail and a problem-solving skills.
• English skills at a business level.
