In 2023, Kering directly invested in its very own Beauty division, with the creation of Kering Beauté. Bolstered by its industry-leading team, the entity seeks to support the Group’s Houses, namely Bottega Veneta, Balenciaga, Alexander McQueen, Pomellato and Qeelin, as they develop their Beauty businesses to become growth drivers.
Established in 2023, Kering Beauté aims to create value for the Group and its Houses. The division’s goal is to ensure that Bottega Veneta, Balenciaga, Alexander McQueen, Pomellato, and Qeelin reach their full potential in Beauty, which is a natural extension of their universe. Leveraging each brand’s unique identity while remaining completely consistent with their strategy and positioning, the new entity’s teams place innovation and creativity at the heart of their business model to fashion tomorrow’s Beauty – at once sustainable and responsible.
In June 2023, Kering Beauté announced that it had signed an agreement to acquire historic high-end fragrance house Creed; founded in 1760 it is known for its distinctive collections of timeless and sophisticated perfumes, including the iconic Aventus. This acquisition represents a major step for Kering Beauté. It perfectly complements Kering's existing portfolio, and immediately gives Kering Beauté a significant presence.
October 2024 marked a new phase for the strategy of Kering Beauté, with the launch of its first fragrance in collaboration with one of the Group’s Houses: Bottega Veneta unveiled a collection of five fragrances by its Creative Director.
