    Job Family Group Description - Merchandising: Includes all jobs responsible for selection, availability and visibility of brands’ collections and products within a given territory or for a given sales channel. Job Family Description - Merchandising Planning: Drives business performance through analysis of business KPIs. Forecasts merchandising measures at every level. Plans and carries out the open-to-buy process by country/region in order to maximize sales potential and minimize losses from mark downs and stock outs.

    Alexander McQueen is a British luxury fashion house founded by Lee Alexander McQueen in 1992. In 2001, the house joined the Kering Group and, since December 2023, is under the creative direction of Seán McGirr.

    How will you contribute?

    • Support and Implement the Global outlet stock and sales strategy to maximise Outlet potential and margin opportunities.

    Trading

    • Proactive approach towards achieving financial targets set by the business

    • Work closely with the regional Outlet teams and stores to understand the individual market product, operational & commercial requirements.

    • Work with the Supply Chain team to ensure the effective distribution of stock replenishment.

    • Identify stock, pricing & promotion opportunities with regions to drive assortment and distribution.

    • Maintain weekly/monthly stock and sales reports whilst supporting on ad hoc analytical documentation for the outlet network.

    • Store visits and regular sales and stock update meetings with the outlets to track performance and discuss trade opportunities/risks.

    Planning

    • Involvement in WSSI planning including store and category monthly forecasting process

    • Set allocation targets by category to ensure outlets receive stock required to achieve budgets.

    • Understand long term stock position and make suggestions of proactive steps to resolve i.e. Rebalancing, Pricing, promotion etc.

    • Build and maintain promotion & events calendar for Outlet network

    • Support with Outlet assortment planning

    Destocking

    • Involved in excess stock clearance process for the outlet network proposing surplus stock no longer required on a seasonal and ad hoc basis.

    • Maintain stock and sales reports

    • Support team in actions relating to 3rd parties on destocking activity

    Required Skills:

    • You will be able to demonstrate the desired Alexander McQueen behaviours.

    • Sound analytical and planning skills

    • Strong capability of Microsoft Office – Building / manipulating reports in Excel

    • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to change

    • Communicator & team player

    • Good understanding of end to end merchandise lifecycle

    • Experience working with product and store assortments
