The Chief of Staff to the Chief Communication Officer plays a pivotal role in supporting and optimizing the operational and strategic activities of Boucheron’s global Communications function.
This dynamic role involves orchestrating projects, managing key initiatives, and ensuring alignment between central and regional Communications teams across EMEA, Americas, Asia Pacific, and Japan.
With a focus on project management and cross-functional collaboration, the Chief of Staff acts as a trusted advisor to the Chief Communication Officer and contributes to the seamless execution of the Maison’s communication strategies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Strategic Support and Governance
- Facilitate the planning and execution of the Chief Communication Officer’s priorities, ensuring alignment with the Maison’s overall objectives.
- Organize and lead weekly and monthly meetings with the Communications leadership team, ensuring follow-up on key action points.
- Oversee governance across Communications functions, including Media (Broadcast), Image and Events, and Press and Influence.
- Develop tools and frameworks for performance tracking, ensuring the Communication function’s initiatives are on track and aligned with business goals.
Project Management and Coordination
- Drive transversal projects across Media, Image and Events, and Press and Influence, ensuring seamless coordination between teams.
- Act as a central point of contact for regional Marketing & Communication teams, aligning global strategies with local market needs.
- Manage cross-functional initiatives, such as product launches, global events, and media campaigns, ensuring timely delivery and excellence in execution.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including the CEO Office, Commercial teams, and regional leaders, to support integrated communication efforts.
Operational Excellence and Reporting
- Streamline workflows and optimize processes across the Communication department.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and briefs for the Chief Communication Officer for internal and external meetings.
- Ensure robust tracking of KPIs and analytics for key communication campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Support the budgeting process, tracking expenses across projects and ensuring adherence to allocated resources.
Representation and Communication
- Represent the Chief Communication Officer in internal meetings, fostering alignment and collaboration across departments.
- Serve as a liaison between regional and central teams, facilitating communication and knowledge-sharing.
- Assist in external partnerships and collaborations, including media partners, event agencies, and influencers.
Execute Special Missions
- Lead ad-hoc strategic projects in line with the Chief Communication Officer’s priorities, such as manufacturing integration, logistics reorganization, and cultural initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Education: BA degree in Business Administration, Finance, Communication, or related field.
Experience: 5+ years in a project management role, ideally within the luxury industry.
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects, especially in governance, strategic planning, and innovation.
Languages: Fluent in French and English; additional languages are advantageous.
