    Descriptif du poste :

    Reporting to the Store Design Manager.

    Fixed-term contract starting September 2024 for a period of 4 months (renewable).

    Mission principale :

    The store design team, within the Architecture&store experience department, overlooks the correct development of all the aspects of the design phases.

    Within the store design team, this is a creative role responsible for the design development stage of the project. Working closely with relevant teams to ensure highest creative and innovative retail environments that meet the brand’s standards and strategic direction, thought the global network (main, temp, pop-up, flagship).

    Responsabilités :

    DESIGN&CREATION

    • Be the advocate of the latest trend in term of interior design and retail design
    • Create the textile and material boards for every store in compliance with local culture and regulation
    • Be regularly up to date with the latest issues & novelties of the ‘Editeurs’
    • Coordinate sourcing of materials and finishings for interior design with an eye for sustainability (key objective of the department)
    • Nurture, implement and maintain the physical material library and being responsible for its continuous availability/stock, as well as coordinating the shippings to partners
    • Supervise the custom developments with specific vendors as required to support the delivery of the global creative direction
    • Supervise the supplier qualification process in term of design to ensure the highest quality and aesthetic standard
    • Draft powerful presentation with the team, by selecting aesthetic & inspirational images, to better conceive the mood of the project for int/ext communication
    • Coordinate photoshoot and storytelling document during the opening phase

    PROJECT MANAGEMENT

    • Provide clear codification of all the references proposed in the materialboards
    • Update and keep accessible records of all design projects for ongoing reference
    • Check the team’s technical drawing packages to ensure consistency and provide support and advice when needed
    • Work in team to deliver the design packages and 3d images in coherence with the design concept for every project
    • Keep track of cost and leadtime of every creative development and standard material to ensure that the store will be opened on time and budget
    • Work closely with store planning team to follow-up on the construction phase and provide creative and effective solution in the short time
    • Identify opportunities for cost efficiency, savings and innovative design solutions to enhance the overall project delivery

    Interface with relevant internal functional team (store planning and visual merchandising) and external consultant & vendors to ensure optimal project delivery

    Profil recherché :

    SOFT SKILLS

    • Highly creative and curious mindset, up-to-date with the industry’s benchmark, but able to think out of the box
    • Ability to understand the technical aspect of the retail, as well as sensibility for aesthetic material and finishes, typical of the store design
    • Ability to read and interpret the technical drawings and being detail oriented
    • Robust organizational skill and ability to manage multiple project at a time
    • Multitasking: able to quickly shift from design/creativity to admin/management
    • Strong aptitude to work in team and in a fast pace environment
    • Ability to communicate and collaborate with different internal functional teams, as well as external consultants and vendors, to ensure the correct execution

    ACADEMIC/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION

    • Minimum 5 years of design experience in architectural or interior design, with proven experience in luxury and/or retail environments.
    • Bachelor or Master Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Industrial Design or graduate in Design or Art school with formal training in architecture or interior design
    • French and English languages proficiently spoken and written
    • Strong proficiency in Autocad and Photoshop, and a modelling software
    • Microsoft Office package (outlook, power point, excel) is a must
