Your opportunity
We are currently seeking for a Chief Accounting Officer who will be part of the Finance Team, based in Padova Head Quarter, and will report to the Accounting & Credit Director.
How you will contribute
- Overseeing the Accounting, Treasury and Tax Teams
- Defining procedures and policies in the Accounting, Tax and Treasury areas, with a view to continuous improvement
- Supporting the Accounting, Tax and Treasury Team in order to ensure timely monthly and annual closing reporting
- Guiding the development, implementation and updating of accounting procedures, finance IT systems and related controls of the Company and its Subsidiaries
- Assuring legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitoring compliance with laws and regulations for the Company and its Subsidiaries,
- Supporting the Accounting Manager in preparing financial statements and related Company’s obligations
- Ensuring the timely and complete preparation of the financial statements of the Group companies, in coordination with the local Finance Managers and according to the international accounting standards
- Ensuring the Accounting Manual preparation for the Company and its Subsidiaries
- Monitoring the cash flow and the financial planning processes
- Ensuring that the economic activities processed are compliant with the regulations and laws in place
- Guaranteeing the correct and punctual management of all fiscal obligations
- Ensuring the correct application of the accounting processes and systems of the Company and its Subsidiaries
- Evaluating risk management
- Monitoring the Subsidiaries activities
- Setting goals for the Accounting Team and individual managers
- Guiding, supporting and contributing to the continuous professional development of the Team, promoting a collaborative and merit-based environment.
Who you are
- Degree in Economics
- At least 7/10 years of experience in similar roles in international and structured organizations
- In depth knowledge of OIC and IFRS accounting principles
- Coming from an Auditing firm is considered a plus
- Knowledge of SAP
- Strong leadership skills and proactive attitude
- Results driven person
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational and team management skills
- Ability to delegate and motivate the team
- Full proficiency in English
- Excellent knowledge of the Office package
