    Your opportunity

    Reporting to Kering Travel Retail Director, the Department Store Manager will support the Brands in the development of the channel, helping them to increase the presence in key locations; evaluating selective closures, when needed; renegotiating terms to support ebit.

    He/she will manage and build a close relationship with Landlords. At the same time, he/she will support the brands to have a group approach.

    He/she will continue to consolidate knowledge of the brands, the market, the locations and the competitors, to better support the channel in the business development and continuous improvement activities. He/she will also be in charge of developing a channel network monitoring report.

    How you will contribute

    Work on business development opportunities for brands

    • Support each brand in the definition of the Brand strategy in the department store channel: development path (location, opportunities, timing, etc.); selective closures ; business model.
    • Initiate, drive and foster business development opportunities: evaluation of new opportunities or expansion / renewal, in collaboration with Brands’ teams; conduct negotiations with landlords.
    • Build and consolidate relationships with Landlords
    • Run any ad hoc activities (e.g. contract reviews – commercial clauses) that is needed to accomplish the goals

    Drive Department Store decisions with numbers and market intelligence activities:

    • Monitor Brands performance to identify potential improvements
    • Initiate and foster market intelligence activities
    • Prepare research and analysis to identify channel trends and customer behaviours
    • Conduct financial modelling and advice brands

    Support the implementation of Kering Department Store strategic initiatives and projects

    • Supporting the brands with ad hoc studies / research on new trends for Department Stores

    Who you are

    • Knowledge of the luxury and fashion market
    • Knowledge of the Department store
    • English fluency
    • Good standing
    • Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Strong proficiency in MS Office (in particular Excel and Power Point)
    • Flexibility to adapt to urgencies and changing priorities
