    Your opportunity

    We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Deputy Store Manager to join our team. In this role, you will assist the Store Manager in achieving business objectives and ensuring smooth operations, stepping in to lead the store during the Store Manager's absence. Your goal will be to drive sales, deliver exceptional customer service, and support the professional growth of the team while maintaining high standards of the store environment.

    This Deputy Store Manager role is ideal for candidates with Travel Retail and SEA airport management experience, strong team leadership abilities, and proximity to Malpensa Airport, offering a dynamic and fast-paced environment within the luxury sector.

    How you will contribute

    Business Objectives and KPIs:

    • Support the Store Manager in achieving sales objectives and KPIs, ensuring a strong presence on the shop floor to guide the sales team and engage with clients.
    • Collaborate on action plans based on mystery shopping results and ensure their execution.
    • Coach and motivate the sales team to deliver extraordinary service, enhance selling skills, and create a unique shopping experience.
    • Address and resolve client concerns, disputes, and complaints to ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Uphold the ethical behavior of the team and maintain integrity towards clients.

    Team Management & Leadership:

    • Lead, motivate, and develop the store team to ensure high performance and a collaborative work environment.
    • Facilitate team participation in training programs to develop knowledge on collections, selling techniques, brand inspiration, and security.
    • Partner with sales trainers to implement training plans and ensure effective follow-up.
    • Provide daily support and coaching to team members, fostering a positive and goal-driven atmosphere.

    Client & Stakeholder Relationships:

    • Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients both in-store and through external outreach.
    • Proactively recruit new clients and organize events to generate business opportunities, involving the team in social and promotional activities.
    • Implement and manage client database activities in line with marketing guidelines to enhance customer loyalty.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with SEA airport management and key stakeholders to ensure smooth store operations and compliance with airport regulations.

    Store Operations & Compliance:

    • Oversee the store's maintenance, appearance, and safe environment, reporting any maintenance issues as needed.
    • Support visual merchandising and stock management to ensure an optimal product assortment aligned with display guidelines.
    • Monitor team grooming standards to reflect the brand’s image.
    • Manage stock efficiency and accuracy, ensuring alignment with KPIs.
    • Ensure store compliance with airport security procedures and operational regulations.

    Market Awareness & Travel Retail Expertise:

    • Stay informed about the luxury market, including competitors, events, products, and pricing trends.
    • Maintain a deep understanding of the brand's positioning, locations, and marketing activities within the local airport retail environment.
    • Leverage previous experience in Travel Retail or airport-based stores to optimize business strategies.

    Who you are

    • Strong experience in a similar leadership role, ideally within a Travel Retail or airport-based luxury retail environment.
    • Exceptional team management and leadership skills.
    • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with SEA airport management and key stakeholders.
    • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify business opportunities and implement effective solutions.
    • Customer-oriented approach, with a passion for luxury retail and high standards of service.
    • Positive attitude, enthusiastic, and a strong team leader.
    • Residence near Malpensa Airport is preferred to ensure flexibility in store coverage and operational needs.
    • Fluent in English and Italian.
