We are currently looking for an EMEA Retail Merchandising Intern to join our team based in Milan.
How will you contribute:
The EMEA Retail Merchandising Intern will support the merchandising department in sales data analysis, inventory management, visual displays and on administrative tasks such as assortments preparation, new collection buying, stock re-balancings and performance monitoring.
The role will have to ensure continuous interaction and support to the stores network ensuring all request are processed. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in retail merchandising and provides exposure to key aspects of the retail industry.
Product Analysis & Inventory Support:
Assist in analysing sales data and market feedback to identify trends and opportunities;
Help with inventory tracking and ensure that ideal stock levels are maintained;
Assist in restocking and replenishing as needed.
Visual Merchandising:
Support in maintaining visually appealing product displays in alignment with brand guidelines;
Assist in the liaison between stores and central visual merchandising department, ensuring task execution and submissions on time.
Market Feeback:
Consolitade product feedback from the field in relations to, product’s needs, new launches feedbacks, fitting and wearability of products in portfolio.
Collaborative Support:
Support the merchandising team to assist in product assortment planning, ad-hod strategic allocations for promotional campaigns or specific events.
Administrative Support:
Help in preparing reports and presentations related to product performance and merchandising initiatives;
Assist on out-of-stock monitoring, clients orders and in-store deliveries.
Who you are:
Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate program (e.g., Retail Management, Fashion Merchandising, Business Administration, Marketing);
Strong interest in retail merchandising and consumer trends;
Good analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel (office package);
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team;
Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment;
Previous retail experience or internship in a related field is a plus but not required;
English and Italian proficiency is required.
