We are currently seeking a Trade Marketing Manager who will report to President of Kering Eyewear Japan directly as a part of our dynamic Japan team in Tokyo.
Your opportunity
You will be responsible for the trade marketing department which is to develop marketing programs in all the local channels in accordance with the overall Marketing and Communication guidelines as defined by the Divisional HQ and the Kering Brands Strategy.
How you will contribute:
- Liaise with APAC Head of Marketing and Divisional HQ for the ideation, planning, budgeting, production and implementation of all TTL/ATL activities
- Develop marketing strategies and activities by channel and by brand for Japan local market.
- Establish, implement and control an effective Marketing action plan in line with the brands’ strategy within agreed budget and guidelines with a total respect of the brand image codes.
- Track results of Marketing Activities and constantly evaluate their effectiveness and ROI.
- Competitors monitoring and analysis.
- Liaise with headquarter marketing team, APAC marketing team and local cross function team for all the marketing activities.
- Visit customers, supporting sales team in the execution of the marketing activities.
- Guarantee constant attitude to in store “Share of Space” conquest with no compromise on quality of brands presentation.
- Attend relevant Customers Meetings and Buying Days supporting Sales Team.
- Manage marketing costs (budget, follow up, ROI) and ensure efficient spending of Local Budgets.
- Working with training team on the Brands Training to internal and external staff, sharing vision and strategy
- Other ad-hoc tasks / projects assigned by the managers due to business needs.
Who you are:
- Fluent in English and Japanese. Knowledge of Italian is a plus.
- More than 5 years of proven marketing experience.
- Relevant industry experience in the luxury, cosmetics and other luxury eyewear or luxury consumer goods industry
- Experiences in highly competitive, brand sensitive, service-oriented markets.
- Deep expertise in marketing programme development in Retail and Wholesale.
- Proven ability to develop outstanding marketing strategies and flawless activities executions.
- Degree in business administration
- Preference to candidates with MBA
- Proven track record of results achieved within a structured, multinational environment.
- Ability to work within fast growing and challenging environments
- Solid understanding of Fashion/Luxury business.
- Proven organizational and project management skills.
- Presentation and negotiating skills.
- Analytical skills and problem solving attitude.
- Excellent Knowledge of Excel, Power Point.
- Flexibility, hands-on approach, ability to handle multi-tasks.
- Entrepreneurship, innovation attitude, exceptional commitment to teamwork.
- Mature personality, self-motivation, and positive attitude.
