GUCCI INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES IN GLOBAL PRESS OFFICE (Milan) – START DATE: 28th Oct 2024

Where and when could you start the internship with us? 

Starting from 28th Oct 2024, we will offer an internship opportunity in the Global Press Office Team.  

Key Accountabilities  

The intern will support the Global Press Office Team with a focus in the following activities:

• Daily International press review

• Daily monitoring of websites in order to check articles/features/collections reviews etc about Gucci or competitors

• Support in the preparation of report and presentation in PPT (i.e. international coverage related to particular projects) or in excel (i.e. detailed lists)

• Support in the preparation and/or revision of texts and press releases

• Support the team in approval process of the new stores imagery liaising directly with the involved offices/departments

• Support the team in the new collections presentations and other events preparation 

• Support the team in the communication between Global Press Office and Regional PR Offices (in particular ensure that different schedules and calendar activities are executed and communicated on time)

What will you learn with us? 

The intern will support the fashion press office in the daily activities.

• Acquire skills on the processes and developments of a press communication strategy  within the Global Press Offices

• Acquire skills on the control and evaluation of the press coverage obtained for specific projects

• Acquire skills on the management of an event or a fashion show from the communication side

• Acquire skills on the preparation of press releases

What are the basics? 

• You should be going into your last year of university and planning a gap semester to take an internship or have recently graduated (within the past 2 years) with successful studies in Communication, Humanistic Studies, Fashion, Languages and Literatures, or related fields. .

• Previous curricular/extra-curricular or educational experience abroad is a plus.

• Fluency in Italian and proficiency in English are required.

• Involvement in curricular university activities and volunteering activities will be considered a plus.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills, precision, curiosity, willingness & agility, positivity, humanity

• Passion for fashion and luxury trends, good knowledge of the main international titles,

• Skills in drafting texts and press releases

• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint proficiency 

How will the Recruitment process look like?   

The selection process will be starting in July 2024

• If your profile meets the listed requirements and your resume stands out, you will be asked to complete a Cognitive Aptitude test (+ technical test/excel if required)
• After the test result, you will be invited for the first interview with the Talent Acquisition Team in September 2024.  
• The last step of the recruitment process will be a final interview with the hiring manager and HRBP.
