GUCCI INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES IN WOMEN SHOE RETAIL MERCHANDISING (Milan) – START DATE: 28th Oct 2024

Where and when could you start the internship with us? 

Starting from 28th Oct 2024, we will offer an internship opportunity in the Women's Shoe Retail Merchandising team.  

Key Accountabilities  

The intern will support the Retail Merchandising Team with a focus on the Women's Shoe category in the following activities:

• Launch reports and control data to analyze the business

• Monitor Best Seller and Slow movers items and coverage

• Support the team in elaborating weekly comments on sales performance

• Collaborate in collecting data to place bulk order before each sales campaign

• Supporting the team in all the necessary activities before/during and after the Sales Campaign

What will you learn with us? 

The intern will have the opportunity to learn and become familiar with Retail Merchandising working methods and techniques, with a specific focus on the Women's Shoe category.

The main objectives of the internship will be:

• Understand the complexity of Merchandising activities within Gucci.

• Develop knowledge and skills related to the role of Retail Merchandiser within the organization

• Increase passion and knowledge of the product and competitors' scenarios with an analytical approach, with a specific focus on Women's Shoe category

What are the basics? 

• You should be going into your last year of university and planning a gap semester to take an internship or have recently graduated (within the past 2 years) with successful studies in Economics, Computer Science, or related fields.

• Previous curricular/extra-curricular or educational experience abroad is a plus.

• Fluency in Italian and proficiency in English are required.

• Involvement in curricular university activities and volunteering activities 

• Good interpersonal and communication skills

• Passion for fashion and luxury trends 

• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint proficiency

• If your profile meets the listed requirements and your resume stands out, you will be asked to complete a Cognitive Aptitude test (+ technical test/excel if required)

• After the test result, you will be invited for the first interview with the Talent Acquisition Team in September 2024.  

• The last step of the recruitment process will be a final interview with the hiring manager and HRBP.
