Your opportunity
The Central Operations Security Expert serves as a key liaison with the Kering Central Operations functions within the Group’ Supply Chain & Logistics, overseeing the Security activities of our 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) partner's Security team within the Central Warehouse and, in collaboration with the Suppliers and inbound Security function, the consolidation centers in Italy.
This role ensures the Security and the protection of Kering’s assets (human, material and immaterial), and compliance with all relevant Security regulations and company policies. The expert will manage security protocols, support incident investigations, and manage risk assessments to minimize losses and maintain a secure Central Operations environment.
How you will contribute
- Serve as the first point of contact between the Kering Supply Chain Security Dept. and Kering Central Operations functions for security-related matters.
- Collect and update information on flows in and out of the central warehouse, as well as internal product handling flows, to carry out in-depth analysis (in collaboration with Supply Chain Security Data & Risk team) and to identify the most appropriate measures to protect Kering products.
- Provide guidance to the 3PL's security team for the activities within the Central Warehouse and the consolidation centers in Italy (in coordination with the Suppliers and inbound Security function), ensuring adherence to laws, regulations, standard security procedures and company policies.
- Collaborate with the Central Operations teams to suggest the implementation and development of effective security plans, policies, and procedures.
- Support investigations of security incidents, thefts, or damages to merchandise within the area of responsibility, developing corrective actions in collaboration with the other supply chain security functions.
- Monitor security measures to prevent losses and ensure the protection of high-value luxury goods within the warehouse, also by conducting regular security audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and areas for improvement and recommending necessary upgrades.
- Manage security-related documentation, including incident reports, risk assessments, and compliance records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Stay updated on emerging security threats and industry best practices, recommending enhancements to security measures accordingly.
- Support the implementation of new security technologies and procedures, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to operations.
- Support in maintaining institutional relationships with local law enforcement/authorities.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the overall security objectives of the organization.
Who you are
- You have a diploma a bachelor’s degree.
- You have at least 5 years of experience in Security activities, preferably within supply chain & logistics multinational companies
- You are highly organized and multi-tasking, able to prioritize.
- Excellent and positive communication/interpersonal skills and management knowledge
- Proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Familiar in MS Office tools.
- Fluent in English, and good knowledge of a second or a third language is a plus (French)
