Your opportunity
As Kering R2R Accountant for Italy, you will report to the R2R Coordinator
How you will contribute
- Managing day-to-day Record to Report retail activities for accounts receivable, fixed assets, variable rent, and sales, ensuring service level agreements are met.
- support the move towards continuous accounting and monthly closing by leveraging new tools and processes.
- Perform cash collection from store register, reconciliation of credit card transactions, both for retail, distant sales & E-commerce channels, with reconciliation of transitory accounts
- Support the implementation of new programs and systems
- Continuously challenge the status quo by identifying areas of improvement and assisting in process improvements and internal controls
- Provide month-end tax calculation
- Create a strong relationship with Brand finance teams to provide the expected level of services
- Travel expenses analysis
Who you are
- High school graduate, a university degree in economics will be considered a plus
- Relevant experience with a focus on General Ledger Accounting and Controlling, a very good understanding of General Accounting (IFRS and local)
- Experience in shared services or complex matrix organization
- Ability to manage finance process improvement, standardization initiatives and finance system implementation: preferably SAP, Hyperion & R2R tool (Blackline…)
- IT & process-driven professional. Working knowledge of Power BI, and SAP is a plus
- Full proficiency in English and Italian – verbal and written and strong interpersonal skills
